The Wolverine stack (BPC-157 + TB-500) is a nickname for two research compounds given at the same time, and no study among the research behind this page has settled an amount for the pair. One animal experiment gave both of them together and printed its figures, and that experiment is where every honest answer here starts and stops.
Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats had an Achilles tendon cut and repaired, then went into four groups of eight: a control group, BPC-157 at 10 µg/kg/day, TB-500 at 60 µg/kg/day, and the two combined. Treatments were administered intraperitoneally for four weeks postoperatively, which means into the abdominal cavity after surgery. The combined arm showed no added benefit over either compound on its own.
The human record holds no quantity for the combination. The closest thing to one is a chart review in Florida where 4 patients received a combination of 2 peptide injections of BPC 157 and TB4 into the knee, with nothing written down about how much went in. A 2026 orthopaedic review covering both compounds reports that information regarding the indications, dosing, frequency, and duration of treatment remains unknown.
Neither compound is approved by the FDA for any use, as a pair or separately, and both remain banned substances in sports. A Phase 2 trial of BPC 157 for Acute Hamstring Muscle Strain Repair is recruiting 120 people and a Phase 1/2 trial of the TB-500 fragment is recruiting 80. Neither of them gives the two together.
Evidence: Not dosing guidance · one rat experiment is the only study among the research behind this page to give both compounds together · 32 animals, 8 per group, four weeks · every figure below is an animal parameter set per kilogram of body weight
Is there an established dose for the Wolverine peptide stack?
registered trial
No study among the research behind this page has given BPC-157 and TB-500 together to a person and recorded how much. That is the complete answer as the question is usually asked, and everything below maps the ground around it.
The two compounds carry separate records, built one at a time and almost entirely in rodents. A 2026 orthopaedic review covering both of them states that information regarding the indications, dosing, frequency, and duration of treatment remains unknown.4 That is a verdict on each compound alone, which makes it a weaker place to start for the pair rather than a stronger one.
We will not add those two figures together and publish the sum as a stack protocol, because the sum would be arithmetic we invented rather than a schedule anybody administered. Nothing among the research behind this page establishes what these two do to one another at a given ratio.
Two recruiting trials will not resolve it either. One is BPC 157 for Acute Hamstring Muscle Strain Repair, enrolling 120 participants, the other TB-500 (Thymosin Beta 4 17-23 Fragment) for Cardiovascular Biomarkers in Stable ASCVD, enrolling 80.1314 Each gives a single compound.
What is on a Wolverine peptide dosing chart?
animal model
Charts circulating under this name specify a weekly quantity in milligrams, a number of injections and a cycle length, presented as though the sequence originated in an experiment. The research behind this page contains no such sequence for the combination.
What it contains instead is a single animal experiment with its parameters published. That study randomly assigned to four groups, with eight rats in each group: control, BPC-157 (10 µg/kg/day), TB-500 (60 µg/kg/day), and combined BPC-157 + TB-500.1 The animals were male Sprague-Dawley rats, each aged 12 weeks and weighing approximately 330 g.1
A chart faithful to that record would occupy a single row specifying rat, four weeks, and injection into the abdominal cavity. It would contain no weekly milligram figure whatsoever, because both quantities are expressed per kilogram of a 330 g animal rather than per dose of anything packaged in a vial.
How much Wolverine peptide per day?
animal model
Daily is the interval the one combination experiment used, and it used it in rats. In that study the two ran at BPC-157 (10 µg/kg/day) and TB-500 (60 µg/kg/day), every day for four weeks after the tendon had been cut and repaired.1
Both quantities are expressed per kilogram of the animal's body weight. The rats weighed roughly a third of a kilogram, so the daily amounts are tiny fractions of a milligram, and converting them to an adult is not a step anybody has validated for either compound.
For people there is no daily figure attached to the combination. A 2025 narrative review notes that only three pilot studies have examined BPC-157 in humans, including its use for intraarticular knee pain, interstitial cystitis, and intravenous safety, and every one of those investigated whether anything happened rather than how much to administer.6
How much Wolverine peptide per week?
systematic review
Weekly totals are how the circulating charts are organised, not how the experiments were conducted. In the one study that gave both compounds together, treatments were administered intraperitoneally for four weeks postoperatively, which is a daily schedule rather than a weekly one.1
A weekly figure can be generated from a daily one by multiplication, but that arithmetic would be ours rather than anybody's protocol: a per-kilogram rodent number wearing a milligram costume, precisely the error this page exists to avoid.
One measured fact does bear on frequency, and it belongs to one compound rather than to the pair. A 2025 systematic review reports that BPC-157 is metabolized in the liver, with a half-life of less than 30 minutes, and is cleared by the kidneys.3 A span of minutes in the body is a reason to read any schedule written in weeks carefully, and it is not itself a schedule.
What did the one experiment that gave both compounds report?
animal model
The four-arm design is what makes this experiment worth reading rather than merely citing: a control group, each compound alone, and the two together, the only layout that can establish whether pairing them adds anything.
Maximum load to failure was higher in the BPC-157 and TB-500 groups than in the controls, and only the TB-500 arm reached statistical significance.1 The combined arm did not beat either single compound. Its authors write that the absence of additive effects with combination therapy may reflect convergence on shared downstream pathways, and add in the same breath that this hypothesis requires further experimental confirmation.1
Read closely what that does and does not establish. It is a single rat experiment, assessed at four weeks, in tendons surgically divided and repaired. Set against the research behind this page, it is not evidence that pairing the two is pointless, and not evidence that pairing them contributes anything.
Why two rat figures do not become a human protocol
animal model
A per-kilogram figure in a rodent is a unit of experimental design, not one anybody carries across to a person. The animals in the combination study each weighed approximately 330 g, and the step from that body weight to an adult human one has not been validated for either compound.1
The older BPC-157 work demonstrates why these numbers are configured the way they are. In the 2003 rat Achilles study, agents were given per kilogram of body weight, once daily, at 10 microg, 10 ng or 10 pg of BPC 157 against saline.2 Those three levels span a millionfold, the signature of a dose-response experiment rather than a usable quantity.
So two figures exist and neither is a dose for a person. Converting between a 330 g rat and an adult is not an operation anybody has validated, which is why no step from that experiment to a reader appears on this page.
What amounts of BPC-157 appear in the published record?
systematic review
BPC-157 (body protection compound 157) carries the fuller numeric record, and nearly all of it is animal work. In the combination experiment it was given at BPC-157 (10 µg/kg/day) into the abdominal cavity for four weeks after surgery.1
One human figure does exist and it is not a figure for a stack. In a 2024 pilot, twelve women with interstitial cystitis, a long-term bladder pain condition, were treated with injections of the peptide BPC-157 (total of 10 mg) around the area of inflammation of the bladder during a single procedure.8 One procedure in a bladder says nothing about repeated injection for a tendon, and the two are different questions rather than two sizes of one.
The scale behind that single figure is worth stating plainly: a 2025 systematic review found that 36 studies were included (35 preclinical studies, 1 clinical study).3
What amounts of TB-500 appear in the literature?
registered trial
TB-500 (a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta 4) has one printed figure in the combination study and a scattered record beyond it. There it ran at TB-500 (60 µg/kg/day) into the abdominal cavity, daily, for four weeks after the operation.1
That is six times the per-kilogram amount of BPC-157 in the same animals, a useful corrective to the idea that these two are interchangeable units of one thing. A separate mouse experiment used a far larger number again: pregnant mice were weighed and treated with an intraperitoneal injection of TB4 at 6 mg/kg, on two days of gestation.9
The human work carries the parent protein's name rather than the fragment's. A Phase 1a Study of Thymosin Beta 4 in Healthy Volunteers and A Phase 1b Study of Thymosin Beta 4 in Healthy Volunteers are both listed as COMPLETED, and neither has published a quantity.1516
How were the two compounds administered in the studies?
systematic review
Four routes appear in the record behind this page, and none is somebody injecting a blended vial under the skin. The rat work went into the abdominal cavity for four weeks postoperatively, which is the route every combination figure on this page comes from.1
The human BPC-157 work went into a joint or into a bladder. A 2025 systematic review describes a retrospective study of musculoskeletal pain following intraarticular injection of BPC-157 for unspecified chronic knee pain, in which 7 of 12 patients reported relief for >6 months, and no amount was recorded for any of them.3
A 2021 review argues that the route may matter less for BPC-157 than people assume, writing that it has practical applicability given alone, with the same dose range, and same equipotent routes of application, regardless the injury tested.12 That claim concerns one compound in rats, and the pair in a person is a different question rather than a smaller version.
Is there an amount for a Wolverine nasal spray?
review
Nasal spray is a form the search traffic asks about and the research behind this page does not describe. Every administration on record for either compound arrived by needle, by mouth or by application at the injured site.
A 2018 review of BPC-157 sets out that range, reporting that only BPC 157 was consistently effective in all of the models of acute/chronic injury of esophagus, stomach, duodenum and lower gastrointestinal tract, intraperitoneally, per-orally or locally.11 Those are rat models, and the three routes named are injection into the abdominal cavity, swallowing, and application at the site itself.
A spray into the nose is not among them. An amount for a nasal preparation would have to originate in a study of a nasal preparation rather than in a scaled-up rodent injection figure.
Is there a cycle, a break or a set duration for the pair?
animal model
No study among the research behind this page has tested a break, a taper or a repeat course for either compound, alone or paired. There is no interval to report, because the question has not reached an experiment yet.
The record holds instead one unbroken block of daily injections in rats. Treatments were administered intraperitoneally for four weeks postoperatively, and that block ended where the study ended rather than where anything about the animals changed.1 Four weeks is therefore the longest documented course of the two together, and it is a fact about a design.
A 2026 review of peptides in ageing names the hole plainly, listing optimal dosing regimens, combination therapy effects, and biomarkers for monitoring efficacy among its significant knowledge gaps.10 All three bear on cycling and all three are open, so there is no rebound to describe, no build-up and no tolerance, and the honest version of that is silence rather than reassurance.
How much bacteriostatic water goes into a blended vial?
The sums work just as they do for a single compound, apart from one complication that matters. A vial labelled 10 mg contains 10,000 micrograms of material, so 2 mL of bacteriostatic water produces a concentration of 5,000 mcg/mL and 5 mL produces 2,000 mcg/mL.
Where the vial contains two compounds, that concentration describes the mixture rather than either component within it. A label dividing 10 mg into 5 and 5 delivers 1,000 mcg/mL of each at 5 mL, so a single graduation on a U-100 insulin syringe simultaneously carries two different quantities.
The conversions are exact and the target is absent, and the second half of that sentence decides everything. A calculator reports what occupies a millilitre; it does not tell anybody what ought to occupy one, and no study among the research behind this page does either.
| Vial label | Water added | Concentration |
|---|---|---|
| 10 mg, one compound | 2 mL | 5,000 mcg/mL |
| 10 mg, one compound | 5 mL | 2,000 mcg/mL |
| 10 mg, split 5 and 5 | 5 mL | 1,000 mcg/mL of each |
Why do the circulating numbers differ so much?
human pilot / early trial
Because they are not anchored to anything. Where figures exist for these compounds one at a time, they differ by design rather than by disagreement: a 2026 scoping review of six peptides reports that significant heterogeneity existed in dosing and route of administration.5
In a body of research, that spread means studies asking different questions in different species. Inside a circulating chart it means something else, because those numbers were not produced by a study at all.
The root is the same either way. Neither compound has an approved amount anywhere, so there is no fixed point for a figure to sit near or far from. A 2026 review covering both of them puts it in one line: information regarding the indications, dosing, frequency, and duration of treatment remains unknown.4 Until the two are given together to people and the result measured, the spread between the charts is a spread between guesses rather than between findings.
What we don’t know
The gaps in the evidence matter as much as the findings.
- 01Any amount for the pair. No study among the research behind this page has given BPC-157 and TB-500 together to a person and recorded a quantity.
- 02Whether a ratio means anything. No experiment among the research behind this page has set one proportion of the two against another, in any species.
- 03How the rat figures would scale. Both are set per kilogram in animals of about 330 g, and per-kilogram conversion across species is not validated for either compound.
- 04What the two do to each other. The one paired experiment found no additive effect and offered an explanation its own authors call unconfirmed.
- 05Any human amount for TB-500. Two Phase 1 studies in healthy volunteers are listed as completed and neither has published a quantity.
- 06Whether a cycle, a break or a taper changes anything. No study among the research behind this page has tested one for either compound.
- 07What happens past four weeks. That is the longest documented course of the two together, and it was in rats after surgery.
- 08What a vial sold under this name contains. No analysis among the research behind this page has measured the identity or strength of material bought outside a trial supply.
