Analytics

We use PostHog to count which pages are read and where readers arrive from. It records the page viewed, the referring site, which links and adverts are clicked, and a coarse location, device and browser derived from the request. It does not record your screen: session replay is switched off. It is configured not to build a profile of you: there is nothing to log in to here, and we never call PostHog’s identify method, so no person record is created for a reader. Analytics requests are served from this domain at /ingest rather than from PostHog directly, so that content blockers do not silently undercount readers — the data goes to the same place either way. We do not sell personal data.
